Hi, I'm Bec

I started Doug Wear as a bit of a hobby, sitting behind my sewing machine, hand making dog walking accessories and drawing my own designs.

Doug Wear is a small, one woman led brand. I design, produce, pack, ship and even deal with all customer service enquiries (with the occasional assistance of Doug).

 

HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

I started out making collars, using odd bits of material, for my dog, Doug. I learnt my skills through borrowing a sewing machine and teaching myself the ins and outs of sewing. I made mistakes and learnt what worked and what didn't.

After receiving so many compliments for what I had created for Doug, I pushed myself to make matching leads and strap harnesses. It all grew from their really and before I knew it, I was considering setting up my own website!

• Original hand drawn designs: I love to draw!  All of our walk wear comes from my sketches which I turn into the products you love, making our products unique to Doug Wear.
• Machine washable: Dogs love to get mucky, that's why we've made sure that all of our walk wear is easy to clean.
• Wanting the very best: Walking with your dog should be enjoyable, so all of our walk wear has been tried and tested to make sure that it's strong enough and safe for you and your dog.

I put your dogs comfort and safety at the forefront of everything I do, putting style and substance together.

All of our harnesses are fully adjustable around the neck and chest area. They are made using tough, durable materials with a padded mesh lining, making them strong, comfortable and easy to wash and dry.
